Creating a welcoming identity and digital presence for a family-run vet physio, Sun Hill Farm.

    Founded by certified Veterinary Physiotherapist, Hannah Bradshaw, Sun Hill Farm Veterinary Physiotherapy provides physiotherapy and hydrotherapy for animals following surgery or injury, and also for general maintenance and wellness. I worked closely with the client to create a visual identity and online presence for the newly launched brand that represents the years of expertise and dedication to animal care that the company is founded on.

    Located on a family-owned dairy farm in the north of England that still runs today, Sun Hill Farm Veterinary Physiotherapy provides an experience rich with history, stunning scenery, and a dedication to animal care.

    On a mission to make the benefits of physiotherapy common knowledge, staff believe in the power of education and strive to not only treat animals, but to educate owners on how to keep their animals happy and healthy, for longer.

    I was tasked with creating a brand identity and website for Sun Hill Farm that encompasses their professionalism, expertise and care.  





    Original branding for Sun Hill Farm provided the foundations for a warm and welcoming website design.



    About the Brand


    While working closely with the client to delve into the heart of the brand, it was apparent that although the company is proud to provide cutting-edge treatments using state of the art equipment, the rich history that lives on the grounds of the farm still play a big part in who they are today.


    LOGO

    The rolling hills that surround the farm formed the basis of the initial icon concept. The icon was then simplified, leaving simple canine and equine figures, framed by a stable.

    Going Digital


    Using imagery that radiates health, the online experience reflects the comfort of a family-run company, combined with a traditional colour palette to promote expertise and professionalism.




    Website Design created in Figma, using atomic design to create modular components and feature rows.


    Component Design


    Using atomic design to create resuable components, I worked closely with a developer to create a set of site elements that can be easily maintained by the client on occasions where price changes or services amendments are necessary.

    With an 8pt spacing system in place, the type styles, colour styles and spacing details were compiled in one place for easy reference when the site was built.
