Designing a digital experience for business management consultancy firm, Taiga.

Taiga is a business management consultancy firm, helping companies adapt to a changing planet through purposeful technology adoption. I designed a digital experience for the firm that presents their services in a simple, fuss-free format, while keeping their primary mission paramount - to leave the World better than they found it.

    Role: Lead UX/UI Designer
    Agency: Goat
Development: Tim Lu + Carmen Shing
    Branding: Josh Mann

    1. Ideation & Strategy
    2. Information Architecture + Sitemap Creation
    3. Wireframes
    4. Prototypes
    5. Visual Design + Interaction Design

Championing their ability to create positive change within an organization, Taiga helps companies make purposeful decisions when implementing new technology. With this in mind, I worked with the client to create a straightforward website, relying on typographic elements and natural imagery to guide potential clients towards booking a chat.

    Concept

The word ‘Taiga’ is used to describe the vast biome which makes up some of the largest snow forests on the planet. A Taiga grows as a result of symbiotic relationships working together harmoniously - similar to the benefits of suitably applied technology within a company and its impact on future growth.

Using imagery to depict the natural pathways that exist within nature, the website aims to communicate the firm’s main goal - to simplify the path to success.

My role involved exploring all possible ways to transfer the existing brand from the brand guidelines provided into the digital realm. As arrows and direction are paramount to the Taiga logo, we extracted some of these references and utilized them to drive action throughout the site. All primary call-to-action buttons feature an angular arrow icon, in addition to placing arrows next to key case study success metrics.

By stripping away the unnecessary, the website steers the user to explore the services Taiga has to offer while emphasizing their appreciation for the planet.
